The meticulous program has resulted in one of the program’s greatest example and goalkeeper, Jonathan Joel Chapman. Up until the age of 24, Jonathan never played a real sport, that is until he met coach. His life changed after initiating the program. He started goalkeeping knowing very little but had discipline and grit to prove that he was capable of being a top keeper. Coach recognized his desire and took him under his wing to guide and develop him. Jonathan wanted nothing more than to improve himself. His diligent work ethic resulted in a call up from one of La Liga Mx’s top competitors, Puebla. Unfortunately, 3 weeks before his official signing, tragedy struck. He suffered a life-threatening blow to the head while competing and had to get emergency surgery. Normally under these circumstances one would quit and give up but not Jonathan. Like the now retired goalkeeper Petr Čech, he overcame his trauma and fear of goalkeeping by the guidance and care of the head coach. A year and a half later, Jonathan came back to the pitch. He now trains and plays protecting his head with a helmet. Although his journey took an unexpected turn, it opened new doors for him. He found himself competing at pro level in Motril, Spain. Jonathan Chapman is the best example of the program’s results and will to fight and will to live.
